Policy

Packages to test

  • All updates for [core] packages must go in [testing].
  • Any updates for [extra] packages may go in [testing].
  • Any packages built automatically must go in [testing].

Testing procedure

When a package has been placed in testing, it must remain in testing until it has received two signoffs. Unless the package has been built and uploaded automatically, the packager counts as a signoff (it is assumed they tested it first). Therefore, in most cases only one additional signoff will be required.
