Things to do before FrOSCon

Stuff we need to organise

  • Demonstration machine

Some sort of oldish laptop should do. Shouldn't be too expensive. It could be running X and GHAMP, and a few graphical applications just to show off that we have stuff working.

  • LiveCDs
    • Updated core packages would be good.
    • AIF port would be brilliant, as it's far more reliable than my hacky install script
    • Test thoroughly!
    • Option to use German locale in GRUB
  • Flyers

Would both Hurd and Arch Hurd flyers be good? They could have different focuses and explain different things (eg: the motivation for each project).

  • Some sort of big banner/poster
  • Networking stuff?

I don't know what FrOSCon provide in terms of network access, so we may well need to bring some equipment of our own. dissertation assistance
